Trained pointer wanted to shoot over this season. For grouse work including counting so must be a good runner, responsive and steady. Preferably english, black
and white, dog or !+*@%.

Hi Helen
I know Peter O'Driscoll has a pointer, b/w dog, castrated, trained, 4 yr old from Embercombe lines he is looking to rehome. I have seen this dog and its really quite nice. I gather it whitters a bit on point so he cannot FT it, but it would make a great working, counting or hawking dog.

strangely enough I have also just got off the phone to Peter and he said you had been on the phone. I was after some advice so this was a pure coincidence. I am really pleased you are going to see him. He is a lovely dog. If only I had more time..... Once again, really happy that I was of some use.
