			<description><![CDATA[ Well just setting here waiting for the big blow, Molly. Just off the coast about 130 miles out in the gulf. The cats are not to be found and both dogs in the
house with us. The lab pup is pacing the floor like something is going to happen??  The storm is to be a level 1 or maybe 2. At this time nobody knows. It is
to take 12 to 19 hours to pass over the area. Mostly rain with wind.  Well post results tomorrow.

			<description><![CDATA[ I was totally unbelieving when Eddie, the Springer, allegedly detected weeks-old blood that had been scrubbed off, in the McCann case in Portugal.

I find it almost as unbelievable that the same dog is now supposedly detecting long-dead (back to the 1940s, possibly) bodies in Jersey.

I know Spaniels are good, but are they really that good? Has anyone got inside information on how these dogs are trained (and maintain their training)?

I think the liver dogs are definitely more skittish. I have a friend who has 2 chocolate labs and he says they have been harder than his yellow and black labs
- but not as bad as his springer!

Although I think the liver dogs are treated differently by their owners too. No idea why - maybe they seem more vulnerable because they are liver!
<br>
I have a friend with a yellow flatcoat (rescued from the bucket!) who is a brilliant worker!

			<description><![CDATA[ Did anyone hear the programme on Sunday morning? The presenter was out on a shoot in Norfolk. It was really good. Were any of you on the shoot they featured?
What was particularly touching (for a non shooting townie like me) was the passion the guns had for the game they shot - it being for the table. One of the
party supplied birds to his Dad&#39;s butchers in the village. It was so good to hear shooting in a positive light. All the more so, given the horrendous
