			<description><![CDATA[ The trial is now well underway with only one remaining day left and 12 dogs.

Unfortunately there are now no Scottish dogs left in the running as John McColl who was the last Scot standing had hard lines when asked back through the
gallery for a bird that was shot by a bored gun (best way I can describe it).
<br>
Young John Halstead came after John McColl failed and he mopped up very smartly.

keep backing or should he drop to flush and if he should drop can you whistle command him? and when the other dog points, and you want to drop your dog instead
of risking him to back or he refuses to back are you allowed to drop your dog by whistle or would this be deemed putting off your brace mate. ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ Hello.  I don&#39;t mean to sound redundant but I posted the below on the Training Forum and didn&#39;t get any replies, so I&#39;m giving it another shot on
this forum.  By way of background, I live in northern USA in the state of Minnesota.  I use my Labs the way you guys generally consider rough shooting and
wildfowling, I believe.  Any comments you may have would very much be appreciated,  good or bad...my feelings will not be hurt.  Thanks and have a great day.

			<description><![CDATA[ The Labrador Club of Scotland&#39;s two day open stake was held by kind permission of Mr Barry Mordue at Kinnaird estate.

The trial was first class with the weather at it&#39;s best.

Gallery members were ferried around in the impressive hagglund track machine as the rest found their way by roads through the estate.
<br>
There were plenty game around and everyone had a great time.

			<description><![CDATA[ The ESAWC held their first annual dog test on 2nd August with the kind permission of Lord Strange at Kilspindie near Errol.

The day was a bit windy with sunny spells.

17 dogs entered the stake.

First place was awarded to Sandy Boag and his yellow labrador Gyp
<br>
Second equal was Gerry Crawford&#39;s black lab bitch Nell and Sandy&#39;s second dog Tweed.(with no run off both were awarded)

I&#39;ve organised an eye testing clinic for Scone this year as a trial to see if it will work for future years.  It will just be on the Saturday (4th July)
this year and will be half price - £25/dog.  It will be at the gundog tent.  You will need to bring your KC registration documents for the dog/s.
